Dr. Rachel Richards earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University in 1998. After working as a nuclear engineer, she decided to follow her passion for health care and attend chiropractic school. She went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California. While at the college, she served on the executive board of the Sports Council and Student Government and was the recipient of the prestigious Clinical Excellence and Virgil Strang philosophy awards. She served for 3 years on the San Diego Board of the California Chiropractic Association until taking time off to have her daughter. She now has two beautiful children, Alexandra and Jackson.

Her passion is to guide your realization of optimal health and function for you and your family. To achieve this, her treatments include chiropractic care, myofascial release, nutritional therapy and coaching on healthy lifestyle changes. Dr. Richards is the only doctor in the San Diego area who has completed extensive training in Pain Neutralization Technique, an amazing, gentle technique to relieve pain. Additional techniques in which Dr. Richards is certified include: Webster Technique, Graston Technique, Applied Kinesiology, and NeuroEmotional Technique ( NET ).


When she’s not working hard to optimize your health, Dr. Richards enjoys spending time with her family, surfing, snowboarding, and traveling.

Dr. Peterson received her Bachelors of Science in Health and Human Performance from the University of Montana where she concentrated her studies in the field of Exercise Science. After graduation, she continued her education at the Southern California University of Health Sciences where she obtained her Doctorate in Chiropractic.

Dr. Peterson was born and raised in Montana. At the age of 18, she joined the US Navy and served as a Hospital Corpsman for over five years. Her experience in the United States military inspired her to pursue her career in Chiropractic. Dr. Peterson wanted to give back to her community as well as help improve the lives of her fellow veterans. She focused most of her elective education on sports medicine, women’s health, and treating different tactical populations.

Dr. Peterson is a single mom to two teenagers. Her free time is spent with family and enjoying the outdoors.
